Overview:

With RJ11 and MOLEX 4-Pin connectors, this communicating cable connect the CURTIS programmable devices (controllers) to 1309 USB box (RJ11 connector for 1309 USB box; MOLEX 4-Pin connector for CURTIS programmable controllers).

The CURTIS 1309 USB interface box is the key part of CURTIS 1314 PC station programmer. Through an OEM level 1309 USB box, the 1314-4402 programming software obtains full access to all programmable CURTIS controllers.

Description:

This programming cable is designed for diagnosing CURTIS AC motor speed controllers through a CURTIS programmer. It works with different CURTIS AC controller models:

By linking an AMP 35-Pin plug connector to a MOLEX 4-Pin socket connector, the cable provides a connecting interface between the CURTIS programmers (1313-4331 Handheld Programmer or 1314 PC Programming Station) and CURTIS 1232 / 1234 / 1236 / 1238 / 1239 AC motor controllers (indcluding the E & SE series).

By using this programming cable, for diagnosing and programming a CURTIS AC 1232 / 1234 / 1236 / 1238 controller, you need to connect:

• the main terminal (busbar) "B-" of controller to the DC power source negative (B-) pole
• the AMP 35-Pin connector to its mating part on controller
  • the programmer 4-Pin MOLEX connector to its mating part of the programming cable
  • the B+ terminal of 35-Pin connector (extended red wire with 2-Pin connector) to the DC source positive (B+) pole

The 2-Pin connector is used for connecting the DC source, red wire for "B+" and black wire for "B-".
